随风且吟Roaring drunk with the lust of life and adventure, and unbearable beauty... 11月8日 亲爱的老爸,生日快乐!10月9日 许愿
9月28日 In the waitingIn the Waiting
Vicki Yohe on her CD "I just want you"
Pain, the gift nobody
Longs for still it comes
Somehow leaves us
Stronger when it's gone away.
Pray, I try and pray
For your will to be done.
But I confess it's never
Fast enough for me.
It seems the hardest part
Is waiting on you.
When what I really want
Is just to see your hand move.
I want a peace beyond my understanding.
I want to feel it fall like rain
In the middle of my hurting.
I want to feel your arms as they surround me.
And let me know that it's okay
To be here in this place.
Resting in the peace that only comes
In the waiting.
Time, time to let it go and just believe.
Trusting in what no one else but you can see.
Free, freedom from the fears that
Close me in when I can't beyond where I have been.
But then again the silence
Doesn't mean that I'm alone.
As long as I can hear
That I'm still your own. 9月17日 Definition of loveLove is patient and is kind; love doesn't envy. Love doesn't brag, is not proud, doesn't behave itself inappropriately, doesn't seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; doesn't rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. I hope you dance

*The last line says it all. *
6月19日 MottoRead these statements every day until they become part of your thinking
1. I am unique and precious human being, always doing the best I can, always growing in wisdom and love. 2. I don’t need to prove myself to anyone---not even to myself---for I know that I am perfectly fine as I am. 3. I make my own decisions and assume responsibility for any mistakes. However, I refuse to feel shame or guilt about them. I do the best I can, and that is 100 percent good enough. 4. I am not my actions. I am the actor. My actions may be good or bad. That doesn’t make me good or bad. 5. Whenever I am tempted to punish myself, I remember to be kind and gently instead. I know that is order to be the best I can be, I need forgiveness and understanding. 6. I know that it is okay to need. I try to keep in touch with my needs so that I can respond to them. 7. I know that others cannot be expected to read my mind or to guess my needs. In fairness to them and to me, I ask for what I need. 8. I deserve to be appreciated. When others show their appreciation, I embrace it with open arms. I never try to deny or diminish my value. 9. I live one day at a time and do first things first. 10. I take great pride in what I do, in what I value, and in the way I live, for I truly believe in myself. 11. My mistakes and nonsuccess do not make me a louse, a failure, or whatever. They only prove that I am imperfect, that is, human. It’s wonderful to be human. 12. I love myself, absolutely and unconditionally, for that is what I truly need and deserve. 6月9日 Reaching New HeightsCharles Haddon Spurgeon-"Oh, there is, in comtemplating Christ, a balm for every wound; inmusing on the Father, there is a quietus for every grief; and in the influence of the Holy Ghost, there is a balsam for every sore. Would you lose your sorrows? Would you drown your cares? Then go, plunge yourself in the Godhead's deepest sea; be lost in his immensity; and you shall come forth as from a couch of rest, refreshed and invigorated. I know nothing which can so comfort the soul; so calm the swelling billows of grief and sorrow; so speak peace to the winds of trial, as a devout musing upon the subject of the Godhead." |
